Every day at 00:00 UTC there is one new board, the same for everyone in the world. Your job: find the route from base camp at the bottom to the summit at the top whose numbers add up to the target exactly.
The rules
The board has 7 rows and 5 columns. Each cell holds a number from 1 to 9.
Pick one cell in every row, starting with the bottom row and climbing up.
From any cell you can step to the row above: straight up, diagonally left, or diagonally right. From column 3 you can reach columns 2, 3 or 4.
Rocks (grey, with a rock icon) can't be stepped on.
Checkpoints (amber border and flag) must be part of your route.
Your route's numbers must add up to the target exactly.
An example
With a target of 34, this route works: 3 → 6 → 4 → 7 → 2 → 5 → 7 = 34. It avoids the rock and passes the checkpoint.

Attempts
You get 3 attempts. An attempt is only used when you press Submit route; you can change your route as often as you like before that. Tap a cell in a row you already climbed to change it, tap the top cell again to step back, or use Clear route.
A wrong route tells you how far off it was, like +3 (3 too many) or −2 (2 too few), but not which cell was wrong.
Scoring and the leaderboard
Solving in 1 attempt beats 2, 2 beats 3, and any summit beats a miss. Ties are broken by time, measured quietly from when you start until your successful submit. There is no clock on screen and no rush.
Streaks
Solve the Daily Summit on consecutive days to build a streak. Missing a day, or using all 3 attempts without reaching the summit, resets it. Days follow UTC, so everyone is on the same puzzle.
Fair play
You get one official result per day. Your progress is saved on your device and checked by our server; refreshing the page doesn't reset anything. No account is needed.
Keyboard
Arrow keys move between cells, Enter picks a cell, Backspace steps back one row, and Esc clears the route.
